Description

Crispy, saucy shrimp cooked in an air fryer with a creamy, spicy-sweet Bang Bang sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels, season lightly with salt and pepper, and lay the breadcrumbs in a shallow bowl or plate. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper to create the Bang Bang sauce. Set aside.
  3. Coat each shrimp with breadcrumbs, pressing gently. Spray the air fryer basket lightly with cooking spray, arrange shrimp in a single layer, and cook at 400°F (200°C) for 8–10 minutes, flipping if necessary.
  4. Transfer the hot shrimp to a bowl and toss immediately with the Bang Bang sauce. Serve right away for best crunch and texture.

Notes

Serve as an appetizer or over rice for a meal. Keeps for up to 3 days in the fridge if sauce is stored separately.
