Description

Fluffy and bursting with fresh blueberries, these air fryer donuts are a delightful treat for breakfast or a sweet snack, offering a healthier alternative to traditional fried donuts.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup fresh blueberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, mix the buttermilk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined. Gently fold in the blueberries.
  5. Grease the donut pan and fill the cavities about 3/4 full with batter.
  6. Place the donut pan in the air fryer basket and cook for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Allow the donuts to cool for a few minutes before removing from the pan.

Notes

Serve warm or allow to cool completely. Can be dusted with powdered sugar or drizzled with icing.
