Description

Quick and festive donut holes with a soft inside and a light, golden crust, perfect for the holidays.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Powdered sugar or glaze for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) and lightly spray the basket with cooking spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, nutmeg, and cinnamon. In another bowl, whisk milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla. Combine wet and dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  3. Use a cookie scoop to form small balls. Air fry for 5-7 minutes until golden brown, cooking in batches if necessary.
  4. Let the donut holes cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with glaze before serving warm.

Notes

For best texture, serve warm. Can be stored at room temperature for up to 2 days, refrigerated for 5 days, or frozen for 1 month.
