Description
A delicious and healthier alternative to traditional fries, featuring crispy, tender sweet potato fries made in an air fryer.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 large sweet potatoes
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Peel and cut the sweet potatoes into thin strips.
- In a large bowl, toss the sweet potato fries with olive oil, salt, paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper until evenly coated.
- Place the fries in the basket of the air fryer in a single layer. Air fry for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
- Once they are golden and crispy, remove the fries from the air fryer and serve immediately.
Notes
For crunchier fries, soak the sweet potato strips in water for 30 minutes before cooking. Ensure the fries are dry before tossing them in oil.
