- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup shredded coconut
- 1 cup chopped almonds
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients, combining until just blended.
- Fold in the shredded coconut, chopped almonds, and chocolate chips.
- Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the baking dish before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely, then cut into squares.
