Description

Warm and delicious cookies that bring the cozy flavors of fall right into your home, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and creamy.
  4. Beat in the egg, then stir in the apple cider and vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined.
  6. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  8. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Use fresh apple cider for the best flavor. Chilling the dough can help the cookies hold their shape.
