Apple Pie Cinnamon Roll Bake

Description

Warm and gooey cinnamon rolls meet tender spiced apples in this easy, homey dessert, perfect for fall gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 cans of cinnamon roll dough
  • 23 cups of diced apples
  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts (optional)
  • 1/4 cup of raisins (optional)
  • 1/2 cup of vanilla icing (from the cinnamon roll dough)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Open the cans of cinnamon roll dough and cut each roll into quarters.
  3. Toss the diced apples with the brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and optional walnuts or raisins.
  4. Arrange half of the cinnamon roll pieces in the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  5. Spread the apple mixture over the dough layer, then top with the remaining cinnamon roll pieces.
  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbling.
  7. Remove from the oven, let it cool for 5 minutes, and drizzle with vanilla icing.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For a caramel apple twist, drizzle with warmed caramel sauce and omit the raisins.
