- 2 ripe avocados
- 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 2 garlic cloves
- Salt to taste
- Cumin (optional)
- Paprika (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a food processor, combine the avocados, chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, and a pinch of salt.
- Blend until smooth and creamy; if too thick, add water one tablespoon at a time to achieve desired consistency.
- Taste and adjust seasoning; add cumin for extra flavor if desired.
- Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with paprika.
Notes
For a smoother texture, you can peel the chickpeas before adding them. Store leftovers in an airtight container; consume within 2-3 days.
