Ingredients

- 1 wheel of Brie cheese
- 1 sheet of puff pastry
- 1/4 cup of honey
- 1/4 cup of chopped nuts (such as walnuts or pecans)
- 1/4 cup of dried fruit (such as cranberries or apricots)
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick.
- Place the Brie cheese in the center of the pastry. Drizzle honey over it, and sprinkle with nuts and dried fruit.
- Fold the pastry over the cheese, sealing it tightly.
- Brush the outside of the pastry with the beaten egg, then place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving with crackers, bread, or fruit.
Notes
For added flavor, include fresh herbs or honey as a topping when serving. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
