Description

An indulgent and versatile appetizer featuring creamy Brie cheese encased in flaky puff pastry, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 wheel of Brie cheese
  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 1/4 cup of honey
  • 1/4 cup of chopped nuts (e.g., walnuts or pecans)
  • Fresh herbs (e.g., rosemary or thyme) for garnish
  • Crackers or sliced fruits for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. On a floured surface, roll out the puff pastry to about 1/8 inch thick.
  3. Place the Brie cheese in the center of the puff pastry, drizzle honey on top, and sprinkle with chopped nuts.
  4. Carefully fold the pastry around the Brie and seal tightly. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and flaky. Let cool slightly, garnish with fresh herbs, and serve with crackers or sliced fruits.
