Description
A simple, no-bake dessert that layers creamy whipped topping, sweet bananas, and crunchy graham crackers.
Ingredients
Scale
- 3 ripe bananas
- 1 package of graham crackers
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 1/2 cup of powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Instructions
- Peel and slice the bananas into 1/4-inch rounds. Choose a 9×9-inch dish or a loaf pan and arrange a clean layer of graham crackers across the bottom to fit.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Whip with a hand mixer or stand mixer until stiff peaks form and the cream holds its shape.
- Layering is the main “cooking” action here. Place a layer of sliced bananas over the graham crackers. Spread a thick layer of whipped cream over the bananas. Add another layer of graham crackers, more banana slices, and more whipped cream. Repeat until you finish with a smooth layer of whipped cream on top.
- Cover the dish tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight. This chilling time lets the graham crackers soften and the flavors meld.
- Slice and serve chilled for the best texture and flavor.
Notes
For best appearance and texture, serve within 24-48 hours. Toss banana slices in lemon juice to prevent browning.
