Description

A simple, no-bake dessert that layers creamy whipped topping, sweet bananas, and crunchy graham crackers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1 package of graham crackers
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup of powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Peel and slice the bananas into 1/4-inch rounds. Choose a 9×9-inch dish or a loaf pan and arrange a clean layer of graham crackers across the bottom to fit.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Whip with a hand mixer or stand mixer until stiff peaks form and the cream holds its shape.
  3. Layering is the main “cooking” action here. Place a layer of sliced bananas over the graham crackers. Spread a thick layer of whipped cream over the bananas. Add another layer of graham crackers, more banana slices, and more whipped cream. Repeat until you finish with a smooth layer of whipped cream on top.
  4. Cover the dish tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight. This chilling time lets the graham crackers soften and the flavors meld.
  5. Slice and serve chilled for the best texture and flavor.

Notes

For best appearance and texture, serve within 24-48 hours. Toss banana slices in lemon juice to prevent browning.
