Description

A cozy, creamy dessert featuring layers of vanilla pudding, bananas, and vanilla wafers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large ripe bananas
  • 1 box (5 oz) vanilla instant pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping
  • 1 box (12 oz) vanilla wafers
  • Optional: sliced bananas for garnish

Instructions

  1. Slice the bananas into 1/4-inch rounds and chill the milk.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the pudding mix and cold milk. Whisk until thickened, about 1–2 minutes. Fold in half of the whipped topping.
  3. Layer half of the vanilla wafers in a serving dish, followed by a layer of bananas, and half of the pudding mixture. Repeat the layers.
  4. Top with remaining whipped topping and garnish with banana slices if desired. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

Notes

For best texture, consume within 24–48 hours as wafers soften over time. To prevent bananas from browning, toss them with lemon juice.
