Description

A light, fun twist on the classic ice cream sundae, this Banana Split Fluff Salad layers sweet bananas, pineapple, cherries, and mini marshmallows with creamy vanilla yogurt and whipped topping for a fluffy dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 cup pineapple tidbits, drained
  • 1 cup maraschino cherries, halved
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 1 cup vanilla yogurt
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
  • Chocolate syrup for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Combine the sliced bananas, drained pineapple tidbits, halved maraschino cherries, and mini marshmallows in a large bowl.
  2. Stir together the whipped topping and vanilla yogurt until smooth in a separate bowl.
  3. Fold the yogurt mixture into the fruit and marshmallows until everything is coated. Gently incorporate walnuts if using.
  4. Chill the salad in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving. Drizzle with chocolate syrup before serving and garnish with extra cherries or chopped walnuts.

Notes

Use firm-ripe bananas for better texture. Drain pineapple well to avoid a watery salad. Adjust sweetness by using plain Greek yogurt or reducing marshmallows.
