Description

A comforting dish featuring tender steak and tortellini in a creamy garlic sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners or gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound steak (sirloin or ribeye), sliced
  • 2 cups tortellini (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cups vegetable broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a slow cooker, melt the butter over medium heat. Sauté the diced onion and minced garlic until fragrant, about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Add the sliced steak to the slow cooker and season generously with salt and pepper.
  3. Pour in vegetable broth and heavy cream, stir to combine, and cover. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  4. About 30 minutes before serving, add the tortellini and stir gently; cook until tender. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley and Parmesan cheese if desired.

Notes

For deeper flavor, sear the steak before adding it to the slow cooker. Adjust the garlic according to taste.
