- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butterscotch chips
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth. Beat in the vanilla extract and the eggs until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually blend this dry mixture into the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Gently fold in the butterscotch chips and chocolate chips.
- Drop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, leaving space between each cookie. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. Let cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
