- 1 jar dill pickles
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup buttermilk
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Drain pickles and pat dry with paper towels.
- In a bowl, mix flour, cornmeal, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each pickle slice in buttermilk, then dredge in the flour mixture until coated.
- Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Fry the pickles in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
- Remove the fried pickles and drain on paper towels. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
