- 2 cups chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Stir together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl, then set aside.
- Cream butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract in a larger bowl until smooth.
- Beat in eggs one at a time until fully incorporated.
- Gradually blend in the dry ingredients until just combined.
- Stir in chocolate chips and nuts (if using).
- Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake for 9-11 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
