Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish. Lightly flour your work surface.
- Mix together the flour, granulated sugar, salt, baking powder, and baking soda. Stir in the melted butter, 3/4 cup milk, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract until a soft dough forms.
- Turn the dough onto a floured surface and roll it into a rectangle about 10×12 inches.
- Combine the ground cinnamon, brown sugar, and sprinkles in a small bowl and spread this over the rolled dough.
- Roll the dough tightly into a log and slice into 8 even rolls, placing them cut-side up in the prepared baking dish.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes or until golden and cooked through.
- Whisk together the icing ingredients until smooth and drizzle over the warm cinnamon rolls.
- Serve warm with extra sprinkles if desired.
Notes
For best results, serve warm to let the icing melt slightly into the rolls. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
