Description
A delightful cross between classic cheesecake and flaky crescent rolls, these Blueberry Cheesecake Crescent Rolls are a quick dessert or sweet treat perfect for brunch.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 can crescent roll dough
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and blueberries until well combined.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles. Place a spoonful of the blueberry cheesecake mixture on the wide end of each triangle. Roll the dough from the wide end to the point, sealing the edges securely.
- Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden color during baking. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
For best results, serve warm. These rolls can be paired with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
