Description

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add the butter and cut it into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in the milk and honey until just combined.
  5. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and gently knead a few times.
  6. Roll out to about 1/2 inch thick and cut into rounds.
  7. Place on a lined baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Serve warm with butter, jam, or honey.
