Description
A warm, gooey Brie cheese bread perfect for parties, date nights, or brunch.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 round Brie cheese
- 1 loaf of crusty bread (like French or sourdough)
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 clove garlic, minced (optional)
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary or thyme, chopped (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the top crust off the loaf of bread, cutting down about 1 to 1 1/2 inches without cutting all the way through. Hollow out a little bread from the center if needed to make a snug well for the Brie.
- Place the round Brie cheese into the center cavity of the bread. Drizzle the honey evenly over the top of the Brie. Sprinkle with minced garlic and chopped rosemary or thyme if using. Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Wrap the prepared loaf tightly in aluminum foil and place it on a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 15–20 minutes, or until the Brie is soft and melty when gently pressed.
- Remove the foil carefully — steam will escape. Let the loaf rest for 2 minutes, then serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
Use room-temperature Brie for better melting and avoid overfilling the bread cavity.
