Broccoli Ham and Rice Bake

Description

An easy, comforting casserole combining tender broccoli, salty diced ham, creamy mushroom soup, and melty cheddar over soft rice.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 cup diced ham
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the cooked rice, diced ham, broccoli florets, half of the cheddar cheese, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, and salt and pepper until thoroughly combined.
  3. Transfer the mixture to the greased baking dish and spread evenly. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Use day-old rice for the best texture. Can be made ahead and refrigerated for up to 24 hours before baking.
