Description

A delightful appetizer pairing creamy burrata with tender steak on crunchy toasted baguette slices.


Ingredients

  • 1 baguette, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 8 ounces burrata cheese
  • 8 ounces cooked steak, sliced thin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Balsamic reduction (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. On a baking sheet, lightly brush sliced baguette with olive oil.
  3. Toast the baguette slices in the oven for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Remove from oven and let the bread cool slightly.
  5. On each toasted slice, place a piece of burrata cheese followed by thinly sliced steak.
  6. Season with salt and pepper and add fresh basil leaves on top.
  7. If desired, drizzle with balsamic reduction.
