- 1 box vanilla cake mix
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 egg
- 1 cup toffee bits
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, melted butter, and egg. Stir until smooth.
- Stir in toffee bits, chocolate chips, and nuts, ensuring even distribution.
- Spread batter evenly in the prepared pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow bars to cool for 10 minutes before lifting out using the parchment paper. Cool completely before cutting into bars.
Notes
For a different flavor, try using chocolate or lemon cake mix. You can also add a pinch of sea salt before baking for a sweet-and-salty contrast.
