Description
A playful Cheeseburger Lava Cake that pairs juicy seasoned beef with a molten cheesy center and a tender cake shell.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup batter for cake (may include flour, sugar, eggs, and butter)
- Additional cheese for topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a muffin tin with butter or nonstick spray.
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, shredded cheddar, cream cheese, breadcrumbs, and egg. Season and mix until just combined.
- Press the beef mixture into the greased muffin tin, creating a dome shape and pouring a bit of cake batter into each dome.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until the beef is cooked through and the cake is set and golden on top.
- Let cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then carefully remove each cake and serve topped with additional cheese if desired.
Notes
For best results, keep beef mixture cold and do not overfill with batter. Test one cake to check cooking time.
