Description

A spicy, cheesy treat that combines classic chili dog flavors in a delightful popper form.


Ingredients

  • 12 jalapeños
  • 1 cup cooked chili
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Bacon bits (optional)
  • Fresh green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice the jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove the seeds.
  2. Combine the cooked chili, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl. Stir until well blended.
  3. Spoon the cheesy mixture into each jalapeño half, adding bacon bits on top if desired.
  4. Arrange the stuffed jalapeños on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until tender and golden.
  5. Garnish with fresh green onions before serving.
