Description
Delightful and flavorful tacos loaded with savory ground beef, melted cheese, and customizable toppings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tablespoon chipotle in adobo sauce
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Taco shells or tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- Toppings: diced tomatoes, lettuce, sour cream, avocado, cilantro
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Ensure to break it apart with a spatula for even cooking.
- Drain excess fat from the skillet. Return the beef to the pan and stir in the chipotle in adobo, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Cook for another 5 minutes, allowing the spices to meld beautifully with the beef, creating a rich, flavorful mixture.
- Warm the taco shells or tortillas in a separate pan or oven. Fill each shell with the beef mixture, top generously with shredded cheese and your choice of toppings. Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
For a vegetarian option, substitute the ground beef with lentils or crumbled tofu. Use lean ground beef for a healthier taco.
