Description

Delightful and flavorful tacos loaded with savory ground beef, melted cheese, and customizable toppings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon chipotle in adobo sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Taco shells or tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • Toppings: diced tomatoes, lettuce, sour cream, avocado, cilantro

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Ensure to break it apart with a spatula for even cooking.
  2. Drain excess fat from the skillet. Return the beef to the pan and stir in the chipotle in adobo, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cook for another 5 minutes, allowing the spices to meld beautifully with the beef, creating a rich, flavorful mixture.
  4. Warm the taco shells or tortillas in a separate pan or oven. Fill each shell with the beef mixture, top generously with shredded cheese and your choice of toppings. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For a vegetarian option, substitute the ground beef with lentils or crumbled tofu. Use lean ground beef for a healthier taco.
