Description

Deliciously flaky croissants filled with melted chocolate chips, combining the best of cookies and pastries.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package of crescent dough
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon flour (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and roll out the crescent dough on a lightly floured surface.
  2. Place a few chocolate chips at the wide end of each triangle of dough, sprinkle with sugar and vanilla, then roll the dough from wide to point to form a croissant shape.
  3. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, brush with egg wash, and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve warm for melty chocolate goodness. Can be paired with coffee or a scoop of ice cream.
