Deliciously flaky croissants filled with melted chocolate chips, combining the best of cookies and pastries.
Ingredients

- 1 package of crescent dough
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- 1 tablespoon flour (for dusting)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and roll out the crescent dough on a lightly floured surface.
- Place a few chocolate chips at the wide end of each triangle of dough, sprinkle with sugar and vanilla, then roll the dough from wide to point to form a croissant shape.
- Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, brush with egg wash, and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Serve warm for melty chocolate goodness. Can be paired with coffee or a scoop of ice cream.
