Description

Fluffy and sweet chocolate chip pancakes perfect for breakfast or brunch, loved by kids and adults alike.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • Butter or oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until combined.
  2. In another bowl, mix the milk, egg, and melted butter; stir until well blended.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix gently; it’s okay if there are a few lumps.
  4. Fold in the chocolate chips, making sure they are evenly distributed.
  5. Heat a skillet over medium heat, adding a bit of butter or oil to prevent sticking.
  6. Pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake onto the skillet.
  7. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  8. Serve warm, optionally drizzled with syrup or topped with whipped cream.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
