Description

Delightful cookies combining rich chocolate and crunchy pistachios for a unique flavor twist on the classic chocolate chip cookie.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped pistachios

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and fluffy (about 3-4 minutes).
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually stir into the creamed mixture until well blended.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped pistachios.
  6. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. Allow to cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
