Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup protein powder
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 cup water
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, protein powder, baking powder, and salt. Stir in the Greek yogurt and honey or maple syrup until well combined.
- Gradually add water to the mixture until a dough forms. Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Divide the dough into 6 equal pieces. Shape each piece into a bagel by rolling it into a rope and connecting the ends to form a circle.
- Place the bagels on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and springy to the touch.
- Allow the bagels to cool slightly on a rack for 5–10 minutes before serving.
Notes
Serve warm with spreads like almond butter, peanut butter, or cream cheese. Store in an airtight container to keep fresh.
