Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips or melted chocolate for filling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Gradually mix in the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and salt until just combined.
  4. Scoop out small amounts of dough, roll them into balls, and place on a lined baking sheet.
  5. Create a small indentation in each cookie and fill with chocolate chips or melted chocolate.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are set.
  7. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
