Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • Powdered sugar for coating

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine granulated sugar and vegetable oil until homogeneous. Add eggs and vanilla, beating until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together baking powder, salt, cocoa powder, and flour. Gradually add this to the wet mixture, stirring until a soft dough forms. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  4. Roll chilled dough into small balls, coat generously in powdered sugar, and place on a lined baking sheet.
