  • 2 medium sweet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Wash and dry the sweet potatoes thoroughly.
  2. Using a fork, prick the sweet potatoes multiple times to allow steam to escape.
  3. Place the pricked sweet potatoes on a baking sheet and bake in the oven for about 45-60 minutes, until fork-tender.
  4. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, cinnamon, and brown sugar until well combined.
  5. Once the sweet potatoes are baked, cut them open lengthwise, drizzle the cinnamon butter mixture on top, add a pinch of salt, and serve warm.

Notes

Choose firm sweet potatoes for the best texture. You can prep the sweet potatoes in advance and bake them just before serving.
