Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) instant yeast
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- Icing (optional): powdered sugar, milk, vanilla extract
Instructions
- Combine warm milk and yeast in a large bowl; let sit for about 5 minutes.
- Add melted butter, sugar, egg, and salt to the mixture; stir well.
- Gradually add flour and knead until a smooth dough forms.
- Allow the dough to rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Roll out the dough into a rectangle.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugar, then roll the dough tightly and cut into rolls.
- Place rolls in a greased baking dish, letting them rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract for icing (if desired) and drizzle over the warm focaccia before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days. For longer storage, refrigerate for about a week.
