- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon hot sauce
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray or olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a shallow dish, combine the flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. In another dish, beat the eggs, and in a third dish, pour in the breadcrumbs.
- Dip each chicken breast in the seasoned flour, then the beaten eggs, and finally roll in the breadcrumbs.
- Place the coated chicken on the baking sheet, lightly spray with cooking spray or drizzle with olive oil. Bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through and golden brown.
- Mix honey and hot sauce in a bowl, then drizzle over the baked chicken before serving.
Notes
For extra crunch, use panko breadcrumbs and marinate the chicken in buttermilk for juiciness.
