Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray or olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a shallow dish, combine the flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. In another dish, beat the eggs, and in a third dish, pour in the breadcrumbs.
  3. Dip each chicken breast in the seasoned flour, then the beaten eggs, and finally roll in the breadcrumbs.
  4. Place the coated chicken on the baking sheet, lightly spray with cooking spray or drizzle with olive oil. Bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through and golden brown.
  5. Mix honey and hot sauce in a bowl, then drizzle over the baked chicken before serving.

Notes

For extra crunch, use panko breadcrumbs and marinate the chicken in buttermilk for juiciness.
