Description

A delightful and versatile quiche with a creamy filling, fresh vegetables, and savory cheese, perfect for brunch gatherings or family dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pre-made pie crust
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup grated cheese (such as cheddar)
  • 1 cup cooked and chopped vegetables (like spinach, leeks, or broccoli)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs (such as parsley or chives) for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the pre-made pie crust in a pie dish and crimp the edges to create a neat finish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, and milk until the mixture is smooth and homogeneous.
  3. Stir in the grated cheese and your choice of cooked vegetables, along with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Pour the egg mixture into the prepared pie crust. Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the quiche is set and the top is lightly golden. Allow to cool slightly before garnishing with fresh herbs.

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature; pairs well with salad or crusty bread.
