- 2 cups cottage cheese
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix cottage cheese, sugar, melted butter, egg, and vanilla until combined.
- In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; then add dry mix to the wet ingredients.
- Roll dough into a rectangle and spread the cinnamon-brown sugar mixture evenly over it.
- Roll the dough tightly, cut into slices, and place in the baking dish.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Let cool slightly before serving warm.
Notes
Serve warm plain or with a glaze. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or in the refrigerator for 4–5 days.
