Description

Soft and tender cinnamon rolls made with cottage cheese, offering a slight tang and moist texture, perfect for breakfast or a snack.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cottage cheese
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix cottage cheese, sugar, melted butter, egg, and vanilla until combined.
  3. In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; then add dry mix to the wet ingredients.
  4. Roll dough into a rectangle and spread the cinnamon-brown sugar mixture evenly over it.
  5. Roll the dough tightly, cut into slices, and place in the baking dish.
  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving warm.

Notes

Serve warm plain or with a glaze. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or in the refrigerator for 4–5 days.
