- 2 pounds chicken breasts
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 4 hamburger buns
- Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker. Sprinkle the ranch seasoning over the chicken. Cut the cream cheese into chunks and tuck them around the chicken.
- Press the cream cheese and seasoning into the chicken slightly.
- Cover and cook on low for 6–8 hours or on high for 3–4 hours, until the chicken is fully cooked.
- Shred the chicken in the slow cooker using two forks. Stir until smooth and creamy. Fold in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted. Spoon the mixture onto hamburger buns and garnish with chopped green onions.
Notes
Serve on toasted buns with pickles or sliced tomato for added brightness. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
