Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 cups prepared cobbler
  • Ice cubes
  • Soda water or sparkling water
  • Mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine fresh cranberries, granulated sugar, water, and lemon juice. Stir and heat over medium heat.
  2. Cook for about 10 minutes until cranberries burst and mixture thickens slightly.
  3. Remove from heat and cool slightly.
  4. In a glass, add a few spoonfuls of the cranberry mixture, then layer it with prepared cobbler.
  5. Fill the glass with ice cubes and top with soda or sparkling water.
  6. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and serve immediately.

Notes

Choose fresh cranberries for the best flavor. You can use frozen cranberries but adjust the cooking time. If desired, experiment with flavored soda or add alcohol for an adult version.
