Description

Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 packet active dry yeast (about 2 1/4 teaspoons)
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, stir warm water, sugar, and active dry yeast. Let it sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, and cinnamon. Gradually add the yeast mixture and olive oil while mixing.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes, adding the dried cranberries, raisins, and walnuts during the last few minutes.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and allow it to rise until doubled, about 1–2 hours.
  5. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Shape the risen dough into a round loaf and place it on a baking sheet.
  6. Cover and let it rise for another 30 minutes, then bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Let cool fully before slicing.
