Description

A delightful dish that blends classic Caprese salad with hearty pasta, featuring a creamy dressing and fresh ingredients.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces of pasta (rotini or bow ties)
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 8 ounces mozzarella balls, halved
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions, then drain and rinse under cold water to cool.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cooled pasta, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, and chopped basil. Gently mix them together.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour the dressing over the pasta salad and toss to combine. Chill the salad in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
