Description

A delicious and comforting dish combining cheese tortellini, chicken, and broccoli in a rich, creamy garlic parmesan sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 package cheese tortellini
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, diced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add the cooked chicken and broccoli florets to the skillet. Cook until the broccoli is tender, about 4–5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Add the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and fully combined.
  5. Toss in the cooked tortellini, mixing well to ensure each piece is coated in the creamy sauce.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For a lighter version, consider substituting half of the heavy cream with chicken broth. You can also use frozen tortellini directly from frozen, or add a pinch of red pepper flakes for heat.
