Description
A delicious and comforting dish combining cheese tortellini, chicken, and broccoli in a rich, creamy garlic parmesan sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package cheese tortellini
- 2 cups cooked chicken, diced
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add the cooked chicken and broccoli florets to the skillet. Cook until the broccoli is tender, about 4–5 minutes.
- Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Add the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and fully combined.
- Toss in the cooked tortellini, mixing well to ensure each piece is coated in the creamy sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For a lighter version, consider substituting half of the heavy cream with chicken broth. You can also use frozen tortellini directly from frozen, or add a pinch of red pepper flakes for heat.
