Description

A creamy, cheesy slow-cooker favorite with tender chicken, ranch seasoning, and crunchy toppings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs chicken breast
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup bacon bits
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot and season lightly with salt and pepper.
  2. Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix evenly over the chicken, then add the cream cheese on top.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6–8 hours or on high for 4 hours until the chicken reaches 165°F.
  4. Shred the chicken in the crockpot, mix in cheddar cheese and bacon bits, and top with green onions before serving.

Notes

For best results, use boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs. Let the sauce thicken by cooking uncovered for 15–20 minutes if too thin.
