- 4 ears of corn
- 4 strips of thick-cut bacon
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup flour
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oil in a deep fryer to 350°F (175°C) and husk the corn.
- Cook the bacon in a pan until crispy, crumble, and mix with ground beef, cheese, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Form the mixture into small patties and insert each into the husked corn.
- Set up a breading station: flour, egg mixture, and breadcrumbs. Coat the corn in flour, egg mixture, and then breadcrumbs.
- Fry the coated corn in hot oil for 3-5 minutes until golden brown, then drain on paper towels.
Notes
For a spicy kick, add jalapeños or hot sauce to the beef mixture. Best served with dipping sauces.
