Description

A whimsical twist on classic flavors combining the juicy goodness of a cheeseburger with the sweet crunch of corn, all enveloped in a crispy golden-brown shell.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ears of corn
  • 4 strips of thick-cut bacon
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oil in a deep fryer to 350°F (175°C) and husk the corn.
  2. Cook the bacon in a pan until crispy, crumble, and mix with ground beef, cheese, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Form the mixture into small patties and insert each into the husked corn.
  4. Set up a breading station: flour, egg mixture, and breadcrumbs. Coat the corn in flour, egg mixture, and then breadcrumbs.
  5. Fry the coated corn in hot oil for 3-5 minutes until golden brown, then drain on paper towels.

Notes

For a spicy kick, add jalapeños or hot sauce to the beef mixture. Best served with dipping sauces.
