Description

Warm, flaky twists filled with creamy cheese and spicy jalapeño—these popper twists are perfect for parties and easy snacks.


Ingredients

  • 1 package of crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped jalapeños (fresh or pickled)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Soften the cream cheese at room temperature.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, cheddar, jalapeños, garlic powder, onion powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix until smooth.
  3. Roll out the crescent dough, cut into triangles, and place a spoonful of the cheese mixture on the wide end of each triangle. Roll toward the point to form a twist.
  4. Brush the twists with beaten egg and bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
