Description

A delightful blend of rich chocolate flavors and festive Cadbury egg crunch, perfect for Easter celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 cups Easter egg candies (like Cadbury eggs), chopped
  • Whipped cream for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the chocolate cookie crumbs with melted butter until combined. Press into the bottom of a springform pan to form a crust.
  3. In a large bowl, beat together cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Stir in the sour cream and melted chocolate until smooth.
  6. Gently fold in the chopped Easter egg candies.
  7. Pour the filling over the crust in the springform pan. Bake for 50-60 minutes, until the center is set but slightly jiggly.
  8. Cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  9. Serve chilled with whipped cream on top.

Notes

For a creamier texture, consider using a water bath for baking.
