Celebrate Easter with these colorful and fun Easy Easter Funfetti Cake Pops that are simple to make and deliciously nostalgic.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 box funfetti cake mix
- 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup vanilla frosting
- 12 oz chocolate melts (white or colored)
- Sprinkles for decoration
- Lollipop sticks
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a cake pan.
- In a large bowl, combine the funfetti cake mix, applesauce, water, and eggs. Mix until well blended.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake according to package instructions, usually around 25-30 minutes. Allow the cake to cool completely.
- Once cooled, crumble the cake into a large bowl and mix in the vanilla frosting until fully combined. Roll the mixture into small balls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Freeze the cake balls for about 30 minutes to firm them up.
- Melt the chocolate melts according to package instructions. Dip the end of each lollipop stick into the melted chocolate, then insert it into a cake ball. Dip each cake pop into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off. Immediately sprinkle with toppings and place in a styrofoam block or upright position to set. Let the chocolate cool and harden before serving.
