Description

A delightful one-pan meal featuring tender chicken breasts bathed in a rich garlic butter sauce, paired with colorful mixed vegetables.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (like broccoli, bell peppers, and carrots)
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon paprika (optional)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts on both sides with salt, pepper, dried thyme, and paprika.
  2. Add the seasoned chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and fully cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F / 75°C).
  3. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the mixed vegetables and cook until tender yet vibrant, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, stir everything together, and heat through for an additional 2 minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

You can customize with your favorite vegetables or seasonings. Serve over rice or alongside crusty bread.
