Description

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Flour (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the sugar and cinnamon.
  4. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over the pastry.
  5. Cut the pastry into strips, aiming for about 1 inch wide.
  6. Twist each strip gently and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Brush the strips with the beaten egg.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

To store, place the cooled twists in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days. Freeze for up to a month.
