- 1 sheet of puff pastry
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Flour (for dusting)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
- In a small bowl, mix together the sugar and cinnamon.
- Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over the pastry.
- Cut the pastry into strips, aiming for about 1 inch wide.
- Twist each strip gently and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the strips with the beaten egg.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
To store, place the cooled twists in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days. Freeze for up to a month.
